Medieval Cloak
I have always wanted one of the cloaks the fellowship has in Lord of the Rings, so for a Hackathon, I decided make one. The cloak is made from bed sheets I purchased from walmart and cut to the desired size. From there, I sewed the 2 layers together, cut out the hood and repeated the process, finally sewing the hood to the cape.
Pictured above are the steps I took to make the hood. I cut out the shape on the 2 bed sheets, sewing them together and turning it inside out to hide the seam.
Next I cut the cape section out but folding it, cutting a head hole and then cutting a line fron the head hole to the edge. I then put the 2 pieces together and sewed them up. Finally I sewed the hood onto the main body before attaching the clasp with some string.
